The belts feature nickel-plated buckles for superior hold and extra durability. An easy-to-slip-on Delrin (plastic) buckle option is also available.

To use the gait belt, place it around the patient's waist with the tag facing outward on the left side and the buckle in the center. To fasten the belt, thread the metal-tipped end through the buckle hinge, over the teeth, and through the slot at the back of the buckle. Pull each end of the buckle to tighten and ensure a secure fastening.

The NYOrtho Gait Belts are machine washable on a lukewarm setting and can be dried on a low setting to maintain their pristine condition.
